Surgery PR Press Day
Another day in Spring seems to mean another press day, and a couple of weeks ago it was the turn of Surgery PR. After first of all storming their offices (sorry ladies – oops!), I then found the bright and cheerful venue on Wells Street, a great place to showcase some fabulous Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter collections. Amongst the things that caught my eye were some fabulous metallic Birkenstocks, a Summer staple for many, and these certainly fitted the bill as the perfect Summer sandal – dressy enough to move from the beach to the bar – just add denim cutoffs and a kimono jacket. New Look Press Day
New Look are one of the most popular and consistent of all high street retailers, producing collection after collection of great clothes, and accessories ranges that now, in my opinion, rival anything that the High Street (and some designer collections) have to offer. The recent New Look press day was an eclectic mixture of glorious jewellery, accessories that belied their High Street roots, and a clothing collection that was more dressed down than dressed up, and showed influences that ranged from Debbie Harry and punk, to Vivienne Westwood and pearlie kings and queens. Bright Light Press Day – Fabulous brands, Fabulous fashion.
May is always a busy time in fashion, with many of the top High Street and designer brands hosting their press previews for the upcoming Autumn/Winter season. I was lucky enough to receive an invite for the Bright Light PR press day that was held in the The Gallery, Soho, last week. Bright Light represent a host of fabulous brands, from Lands’ End and Closet Clothing, to Damsel in a Dress and Olsen, so it was bound to be a great event full of interesting ranges.
