Morning School Run – The First Catwalk of the Day
Gone are the days when mums did the school run in their pyjama bottoms and slippers with no makeup on. Mums are now glamming up for their daily trips to the school yards to drop their kids off. It doesn’t mean rolling up in the most up to date car, but also strutting down the school playground in heels, the latest designer handbag or face of makeup. The school playgrounds have now become a hub for mums to showcase their latest fashion items to compete with other mums in the yummy mummy contest. New Season FitFlops
Ever since Joe, my four-year-old, started school, I have found myself doing more and more walking. I’ve found that I actually enjoy being in the great outdoors and getting around as much as possible by foot. In addition, school holidays are often spent chasing after a bike, being stuck in goal or generally traipsing around an assortment of zoos, museums and theme parks. By some quirk of fate, I’ve become an outdoorsy type. And therein lies the problem. Lands’ End Mommy Bloggers Challenge – Style on the School Run
I’ve become a huge fan of Lands’ End since I attended their A/W 2012 press day and fell in love with their English Heritage based range. So when I was asked if I wanted to take part in Style on the School Run project I was very excited.
