Itihaas Brasserie at Selfridges, Birmingham
Itihaas Brasserie opened in 2012 within the Birmingham Selfridges Food Hall. It was a new concept offering Itihaas’s original renowned Indian cuisine (their main Birmingham restaurant has won the best restaurant award in the UK Cobra Good Curry Guide) and high standards, yet in a casual setting. The brasserie was an instant success, I ate there quite soon after the opening and loved the food and the buzzing atmosphere. Last weekend I decided it was high time for a revisit, and so I decided to lunch there whilst I was enjoying the Bullring’s Autumn Fashion Fix. Itihaas is located right in the heart of the ground floor of Selfridges Birminham.…

Christian Louboutin’s first ever nail colour hits Selfridges
Say the term iconic fashion designs, what springs to mind? Chanel’s Little black dress? Diane Von Furstenberg’s wrap dress? Vivienne Westwood’s pirate boots maybe? Or Gianni Versace and a certain safety pin dress? There is every likelihood that all the aforementioned designs are fully deserving of the term iconic, but no list of iconic designs would be complete without Christian Louboutin’s red soled heels. There are stories that say the original pair of heels were painted red with…

This was something I knew I had to put right. So last Friday I took myself off the iconic Bullring Birmingham store with one of my favourite blogging ladies, the gorgeous Miss Emily Jayne, to sample the delights of an…

Scaramouche and Fandango – pamper the man in your life
The rather wonderfully named Scaramouche and Fandango is a great new beauty range aimed at the man in your life. You may remember some of the products were featured in the very popular men’s beauty box that Selfridges launched in time for Father’s Day. After featuring the box on Fashion-Mommy, the lovely people from Scaramouche and Fandango asked if I (or hubby Pete to be more precise) would be interested in taking some of the products for a proper test drive. Of course we said yes, and here is what Pete thought of this new range. Pete is pretty good at taking care of his skin. His work in the…
