White Stuff Autumn Collection – 1990s revisited
I’ve just spent some time perusing the new collection of one of my favourite High Street Stores. White Stuff, and there’s definitely some nostalgia for the 1990s in the range. This collection is full of chunky layers, winter florals and muted shades that evoke the early 1990s grunge collection of Marc Jacobs for Perry Ellis. Long maxi skirts teamed with the cosiest chunky knit sweaters, leggings and boots teamed with long-line knits and thick knotted scarves and pretty dark floral dresses are all included in the fabulous range. There are echoes of early 1990s heroes, from Kurt Cobain in his slightly oversized sweaters that draped off the shoulder,to Claire Danes…

The sales are still in full swing in a town centre near you, but I always think it is exciting when we start to see a glimpse of the new season’s looks. New colours, new fabrics, different shapes and lengths all go to make shopping that little bit more exciting. So, Fashion-Mommy is going to start previewing the upcoming season by starting with a sneak peek at the collection of one of the High Street‘s most fabulous independents – White Stuff. I am a great fan of White Stuff, there always seems to be a quirky side to its designs that I find so appealing. In addition, the attention to…

Easter treats from White Stuff
Easter is here and the weather promises to be amazing this weekend, which is taking some of us by wardrobe surprise. For many of us April means April showers, so we were not quite ready to banish the cardigans and opaque tights in exchange for glorious sunshine. So it’s a good job that White Stuff did the hard work for us, banishing the winter blues with a sparkling collection of bright summery pieces that just scream SUNSHINE! There are pretty floral tops, sexy halter neck dresses and cool maxi dresses that could take you from beach to bar. There are the cutest flip-flops and stylish city shorts. And all the…

White Stuff says it with flowers for Mother’s Day.
Mother’s day is less than two weeks away. Last week I took my little boy into a greetings card shop to show him exactly what I DON’T want on the 3rd April. Call me ungrateful, but I don’t want any cuddly toys cradling lovehearts with ‘The World’s best mommy’ slogans emblazoned on them. In fact, I don’t want anything with ‘World’s best Mommy’ on the front. No tacky crap for me, thank you very much! But I am partial to flowers..or at least something floral. And that is a bonus this year, because one of my favourite stores, White Stuff, has unveiled an amazing collection of floral print dresses, tunics…
