TOWIE celebrity style featuring New Look, Miss Selfridge and Simply Be
My best friend is getting married in June (so exciting!), and she has decided for a real Essex Hen night, complete with a trip to the infamous Sugar Hut. This has led to Fashion-Mommy giving the style of those TOWIE ladies a lot of consideration. And I have to say that they make some great choices when they hit the High Street. The lovely Lydia Bright, Gemma Collins and Jess Wright have all recently been pictured wearing some great High Street finds that look really good without breaking the bank. Here’s how you can get the looks for yourself.
Gemma Collins wears Simply Be and Dorothy Perkins
I love Gemma. She’s a gorgeous curvy lady who truly knows how to dress her figure to the most glamorous advantage. Many have commented on her resemblance to a young Diana Dors, I can see this myself and think this is why Gemma looks best when she opts for high-octane glamour.
On the recent (rather strange) programme, TOWIE versus Benidorm, I noticed Gemma wearing this rather lovely Dorothy Perkins dress that is now available in the sale. The dress also comes in an ivory shade.
Gemma also looked fabulous in a Simply Be shrug that I had featured on Fashion-Mommy site earlier this year. It had a lot of great responses then, and I think Gemma showed off just how pretty this item is. It is from the Frock&Frill range and costs £50.
Lydia Bright
We all know that Lydia is a huge Miss Selfridge fan, and she has kept up her support for the brand recently by wearing a series of items from the store on TOWIE, and when she has been out and about.
I loved this sheer dress when I saw it at the Arcadia Press day last year, but thought it had an Ibiza feel to it that would keep it as a holiday buy.Lydia showed how to dress it up for an evening out. Unfortunately, this look is out of stock online, but you may find it in your local branch.
Lydia also snapped up a pair of the limited edition Clementine heels, which added a colour pop to a neutral outfit.
 Jessica Wright
Jessica has recently been photographed wearing a gorgeous pastel pair of New Look heeled loafers that cost just £25. I wasn’t sure about heeled loafers at first -the name sounded like an oxymoron in itself, but must admit I am really beginning to love them, and think they look super cute with ankle socks (although I wouldn’t advise this if you have a child also wearing ankle socks…). Jess’s shoes also come in black, perfect for work.
