Zatchels celebrates its 1st Birthday in style!
If you were asked to name the hottest British accessory Brand of the moment, you would probably say Zatchels. You can’t pick up a magazine or turn on the television without seeing a variety of the super special leather satchels being carried by some super hot star. Jessie J has one, Millie Mackintosh has one, Cheska Hull loves hers. Zatchels are ultra cool, totally beautiful in a myriad of designs and best of all, highlight the Best of British design and manufacturing.
Last week CiCi PR hosted a very special press day at the Backstage Fashion Agency to celebrate Zatchels upcoming first birthday. The brains behind Zatchels, Jan Swain Clarke and Dean Clarke were there to introduce guests through the complete Zatchels collection, from Satchels, barrel bags and saddle bags. Every design was on view, from seasoned favourites like the cracked leather collection and the Union Jack collection, to brand new designs like pastel saddle bag collection and the fluorescent floral Satchel collection. I totally fell in love with the new larger sized saddle bag in the neon green colour – a definite summer must have.
The press day was a perfect opportunity to see touch and feel all the wonderful bags. It was also great to have a chat with Jan about the collections, including the wonderful new men’s range that is such a fantastic addition to the collection. It was also a wonderful surprise to be able to choose a Zatchel barrel bag to take home, I chose a fantastic orange polka dot bag and squealed when I found it contained Bourjois make-up.
As the day turned to evening, the celebrity Zatchel fans turned out in force for an exclusive VIP event. Celebrity guests in attendance included Mcfly and their girlfriends, Made in Chelsea star Rosie Fortescue , actress Louisa Lytton, TV stars Phil Turner & Gary Cockerill, presenter and model Lizzie Cundy, Desperate Scousewifes star Ellissa, Actress Sarah Bernard, Radio 1’s The Mac Twins, Chanel 5’s Minnie Stephenson, Itv1’s Day Break Kirsty McCabe, winner of Katie Price’s ‘Signed’ and newly crowned Miss London Amy Willerton , fashionista Quentin Jones, Style icon Prince Cassius, and presenter Laura Hamilton.
All in All, this was a great showcase for a great British brand, and I really enjoyed attending. Thanks to Cristie Herbert from CiCi PR, and Jan Swain Clarke and Dean Clarke from Zatchels.
