Boden launch new season brights
When the days are short and dark, and sunshine seems in short supply, it is always heart-warming to think that we have already had the shortest day, so Spring and blue skies must be somewhere around the corner. One of the ways that we can start to lean towards Spring is when the stores and brands start to introduce the new season ranges, and when those ranges are bright and pretty, they go some way to lightening those dark days.
Boden have this week started to introduce their first, new season picks. Like in previous seasons, the range is high on colour, with both pastels and primary shades well represented. There is also the 1950s/1960s influences that have also been something that Boden has relied quite heavily on over the last couple of seasons, always to good effect. Many of the pieces in the range are quite easy to slot into your current wardrobe. You can wear the pretty floral dresses with a cardigan or jumper over the top, and with opaque tights, Zooey Deschanel style. The pastel knits will be a great way to brighten up dull Winter days, whilst the tunic dresses can be worn layered over leggings.
My favourite picks from the first releases include the Alice High Heels, which are, quite frankly, amazing, and the Sylvia dress, a pretty prom style with a floral print that looks just gorgeous worn with the Fifties cardigan.
