Brits 2014 – Kate Moss, Katy Perry and Beyonce sparkle

Wednesday saw the most important night in the British Music Calender, with the presentation of the BRIT awards.

I can’t say I was that impressed with the actual ceremony, for a night that is supposed to be a celebration of all that is great about the British music industry, it sure was dominated by overseas acts in the performances, from Lorde to Beyonce by way of Bruno Mars and Katy Perry.

That said, there were some true fashion moments that night. In fact, the Kate Moss appearance may well rate as the coolest Brits fashion moment ever (or at least a tie with Geri Halliwell and the Union Jack tea towel.

Here are my favourite fashion moments of the night.

Kate Moss

Basically the coolest Brits fashion moment ever. Kate Moss takes to the stage dressed as David Bowie dressed as Ziggy Stardust. This was all kinds of amazing.

Rita Ora and Calvin Harris

Rita Ora in Prada – just the perfect use of colour in one gorgeous dress.

Lily Allen

Lily Allen in sequins. Chanelling vintage Kate Moss maybe? The ponytail matched to the bag was an inspired masterstroke, and totally rock and roll.

Beyonce

More sequins. This time in the most gorgeous shade of teal, being worn by the goddess that is Beyonce.

Peaches Geldof

A woman who’s style has been really improved of late is Peaches Geldof. This was another great look from the lady, a sort of baby Bardot look. The Farrah Fawcett hair is pretty lovely too.

Zoe Hardman

More sparkle, this time a glorious silver full length beauty worn by TV presenter Zoe Hardman.

Katy Perry

And yet more sparkle…have to say this dress worn by Katy Perry sparkled more than her flat and tuneless performance.#justsayin…
