Building up your bra wardrobe

Building up a good stock of bras is important for any woman. You will need a good range of underwear, from a reliable, comfy t-shirt bra through to a glamorous sexy item that may be saved only for the bedroom. Then of course comes everything in between – bras with lesser, medium and fuller coverage, something to wear at work and something to wear on a date, perhaps even bras that can be used on multiple occasions and for a variety of purposes.

Bra shopping is a much easier and more pleasurable experience if you know what to look for. Pick a bra that fits nicely, has an appropriate amount of coverage and gives you enough support if you want to be comfortable and look good at all times. Many bra sellers and designers, such as Panache, estimate that somewhere between 70 and 80% of women are wearing the wrong bra size, so try to get a professional fitting as soon as possible. This isn’t as scary as it sounds, and the shop assistants will be trained professionals to help you find the right bra for you.

However, don’t always opt for the same style of bra you’ve always been comfortable with before. Although comfort is important, it’s good to stray a little out of your comfort zone to try something new, for example a new cut or style of bra, which you may find just as comfortable and perhaps even a little more exciting than the first!

Different bras reveal different attitudes at different times. Conservative bras are for the workplace, whilst sexy bras can add to your confidence and allure at the appropriate moment. Just be sure that whatever bras you choose to add to your wardrobe make you feel good, and remember to get yourself measured at relatively frequent intervals, because your bra size will change over time!
