A preview of the House of Fraser #HHHO Grotto in Birmingham
Saturday 28th November will see this year’s launch of the most beautiful grotto in Birmingham. The House of Fraser grotto is truly beautiful, a veritable Winter wonderland that mixes the joy of reindeer’s, snow and Santa with a look back to the traditional shops and houses of the Dicken’s ‘A Christmas Carol’ era. The Grotto, once again, raises much needed funds for the Harry Moseley Charity, Help Harry Help Others, and is sure to delight children and parents with its sheer festiveness. I was lucky enough to be invited to go along to the launch, and took my sister Jodie, Joe and my niece Renee along with me. A Christmas…

This is a beautiful hardback book, that is initially personalised with a picture of the recipient on the title page, along with a dedication or personal…

Either way, come December 25th, there are always pads, felt tips and pencils, prettily wrapped in paper, and waiting to make an appearance. Moonpig may not be the most obvious place to try when searching for stationary gifts…

Christmas fun with the Blithbury Reindeers
Blithbury Reindeer Lodge is home to England’s largest working Reindeer herd, and is a brilliant place to visit at any time of the year, but during the run up to Christmas it becomes extra special, a real Winter Wonderland, as Santa arrives, the elves start working, and Christmas season is launched in magical fashion. This year, the launch took place on Saturday 14th November, and I took Joe and my niece Renee along to enjoy the festivities. Both the children were very excited about meeting the reindeers, and Blithbury certainly has lots of those. We started by buying pots of food so that we could feed them (£1 per pot…
