Marvel Kids launch new online games
If your child is a fan of Marvel characters like Spiderman and The Avengers, now is a great time to check out the Marvel Kids page at Disney.co.uk. A great new range of Marvel games have been launched just in time for the dark nights. These games included all of our favourite super heroes in a range of adventures that not only offer a lot of fun (and at different levels of difficulty to challenge all ages) but are also educational too. A spooktastic family games night with Megableu
In these days that are dominated by games of a computerised kind, it is still nice to sometimes take time out to play games that come in a cardboard box that don’t require a keyboard, a control pad or have the words FIFA attached to them. These games are fun and exciting, and often incorporate various levels of difficulty so they can be enjoyed by children (and adults) of all ages. With Halloween in mind, we were sent a couple of games from Megableu, Ghost Hunt Evolution and Creepy Hand. Creepy…

New Giveaway with Batman Unlimited.
When super heroes come to mind, there is no doubt that our kids (and let’s face it, ourselves) can never get too much of Batman. From Adam West and Bert Ward in the 1960s, to the film versions starring Michael Keaton, Michelle Pfeiffer and Jack Nicholson – darker than the 1960s TV show, but still with an element of tongue-in-cheek, and right up to date with the Christopher Nolan movies, Batman has the power to entice and excite in equal measures. With the recent film versions being of a decidedly adult nature, it has been left to DC Kids to fly the flag for kids with the child friendly cartoon…

Disney on Ice presents World of Enchantment in Birmingham
The little girls had their best Elsa and Anna costumes on. The little boys couldn’t decide whether to buy a plastic sword or a cuddly version of Lightning McQueen, it could only mean one thing – Disney on Ice was back in Birmingham, at the city’s Barclaycard Arena. And, once again, it was a show that was high on Disney charm and magic with much-loved characters and crowd pleasing songs giving the audience a lovely night to remember. The show started with a set piece from Toy Story 3, as Andy is putting away his childish things before he embarks on a new adventure at college. The toys end up…

Loving IKEA’s new kitchen rules, as decided by kids
When it comes to funny ad campaigns, IKEA always seem to come up trumps. Last year it was the frankly hilarious hypnotist who had people believing they were living in an IKEA world based in their store (you can check this out here.) and this year they have kids taking over in the kitchen – quite literally. From designing kitchen spaces to making up their own rules for cooking and spending time in the kitchen, I have to say that in this case, to quote The Who, the kids are alright. I’m guessing that part of the reason I love this is that, as a really bad cook who frankly…
