Who wears what to play bingo?
Image by Anders Ruff Custom Designs Bingo is a game that has traditionally been popular with older people and the stereotypical image of bingo used to be of groups of old ladies with blue rinses and big handbags down at the local bingo hall. But since the game went online people of all ages have started to play bingo – whether it’s for five minutes while they’re waiting for a bus or for a whole evening. All I want for Christmas is shoes
The title is no festive jest, as a confirmed shoe-holic, whenever I’m asked what I would like for Christmas, another image of footwear immediately pops into my head. Loving the Christmas Markets!
Last weekend I made the most of the mild weather by visiting not one, but two Christmas Markets. Trip one took in the Lincoln Christmas market, set in and around the beautiful surroundings of Lincoln Castle. I try to go to Lincoln each Christmas, loving the chance to drink mulled wine whilst browsing all the stalls. I particularly like the leather and sheepskin stalls which have a great mixture of bargain buys and more luxurious items. Lincoln City is also a great place to shop, with some brilliant vintage stores, charity shops with hidden treasures, and small independents that are perfect when you are looking for something a little bit…

Barbour create perfect Winter Staples
It is December, and that means we are well and truly entering Winter. Snow may not be here yet, but the mornings are cold and frosty, nights see the temperature dropping drastically and there have already been a few days when the mercury has hardly risen above that zero. This is the perfect time to take a look at your Winter wardrobe to make sure you have the key pieces that will help you survive the Winter freeze. A good coat, lots of chunky knits, shoes or boots with a sensible grip and a cute and warm hat are all vital pieces when the temperatures plummet. And the same rules…
