Reviewed – F&F True Supersoft Skinny Jeans
This is a bit of a departure for me when it comes to writing review posts. This is because, in nearly four years of blogging, I have only ever once posted a review of a pair of jeans. The reason for this is quite simple – I don’t generally like jeans, and so I don’t really wear them that much. I find jeans problematic. I have long legs, but a jelly belly. I like my jeans to sit on my waist, or even higher if possible. I’m not a huge fan of boyfriend styles – I don’t think they do anything for curvy girls, and had always opted for bootcut…

End of the Month Shoe Lust
Tomorrow will be the 1st of May, so for many of you, today is the last day of the month, and that means payday, and the time for a special treat! This is probably why, after browsing on shoe websites for a couple of hours, I felt a real compulsion to theoretically fill my virtual basket with the sort of shoes that I would buy if money was no object. Shoes are a bit of an addiction for me. I have more pairs than I need, many of them that never get worn, being too small, too big, too uncomfortable, too tight or too high. But I would never part…

A selection of Spring Jeans from Bank Fashion
Whatever the season, whatever the weather, it is safe to say that most of us will still be wearing a pair of jeans in some form. Since the 1950s, when denim moved from being a fabric made for workwear, to a wardrobe staple made cool by the likes of Marilyn Monroe, James Dean and Brigitte Bardot, jeans have become a must have for any woman, worn casually by day, and dressed up by night. And, right at this moment, there are simply so many styles available that we can safely say we are almost in the midst of a denim explosion. But what jeans to choose? The ladies of the…

Evans – The Lace Edit
With the exception of the white variety, which I associate with weddings, I somehow seem to think of lace as a winter trend. But this season, Evans is showing that the delicate fabric is actually a perfect choice for that strange, transitional period between Winter and Spring. Lace is a versatile fabric. In black and dark shades it looks decidedly gothic, but the nature of the fabric is delicate and light, therefore giving it a softer feel. Evans have added some soft grey and Emerald Green into the mix, as well as adding lace to everyday sweatshirts and denim shirts, again showing the wonderful versatility of this fabric. Here are…

Reviewed – F&F Bum and Tum jeans
I have a problem with jeans. I can never find a pair of jeans that fit me properly. I often put this down to being in between sizes and so having to go a size up in order to get the jeans to fit on the waist. But I then find that the jeans seem to be falling down all the time, and hence I spend the day hitching them up again, even when wearing a belt. As a consequence, I think jeans are possibly my least favourite item of clothing. So when F&F launched a new collection of limited edition shapewear jeans, called the ‘Bum and Tum’ collection, I…
