Travel – Cala’n Bosch Menorca
Cala’n Bosch (also known as Cala’n Bosch or Cala en Bosc) is a lovely, family friendly beach, marina, hotel, and apartment resort situated on the southwest coast of Minorca. We have been holidaying in this resort for the past few years and find it to be a place that addresses all of our needs – beautiful beaches, a good range of restaurants and a few shops for when the sun goes down. The Marina The Marina is the hub of activity in Cala’n Bosch, most of the restaurants and shops are situated around it, and it is a lovely place to take a leisurely walk around after dinner. Simon Webbe Breathes Life into The Big Bad Wolf in ‘The Three Little Pigs’
If you are looking for a highly original, family friendly show to watch this Summer, then you need to check out Stiles and Drewe’s ‘The Three Little Pigs’. Starring Birmingham’s own Simon Webbe as the Big Bad Wolf, the ‘Three Little Pigs’ promises to be a new spin on the story, with jokes and songs, and a chance to find out a little more about the snouty faced creatures who somehow manage to outfox the wolf. As well as Simon, who I had the pleasure to grab a few words with earlier this year when he was in town for the Strictly Come Dancing Live shows, the cast is full…

Lego Deep Sea Explorers at Birmingham Sea Life Centre
The Sea Life Centre in Birmingham is one of the City’s top family attractions. Each Summer it has a special themed event to tie into school holiday time, with Moshi Monsters and Octonauts being featured in previous years. This year, children are offered the chance to be Deep Sea Explorers with Lego City, having a dive log book which they are able to stamp as they proceed around the centre finding Lego equipment and answering questions about the creatures of the Sea Life Centre. On Saturday, I took my family to the centre to attempt the challenge. We had great fun. Any trip to the Birmingham Sea Life Centre starts…

A weekend in Blackpool with Travelodge Southshore
I adore Blackpool, it is definitely the flashiest, glitiziest place in the UK, and the sight of that iconic tower always makes my heart skip a beat. I do think finding really good accommodation at an affordable price and in walking distance of the attractions is difficult though – there are lots of guest house around but you really do hear some horror stories. So why not opt for a stay in one of the UK’s most trusted, affordable hotel chains – Travelodge? We did, and we were certainly very impressed by all aspects of our stay. Location Travelodge Blackpool Southshore is situated on Bloomfield Rd, opposite the Blackpool FC…
