Selfridges Birmingham enjoy Big Beauty Bang
Thursday night saw Selfridges Birmingham in party mood as it started a Summer celebration of all things British with the Big Beauty Bang. This was a night dedicated to all things pampering as make-overs, champagne and goodie bags dominated the proceedings. The atmosphere was a little bit carnival (think hoola hooping Cabaret ladies), a little bit fairground (the most amazing grabbing machine…more later) and very, very British – Union Jack Pommery Champagne anyone? It’s taken Madonna a long time to come up with her first perfume. After a career that has seen music, film,video, books, clothing for her own line and collaborations with H&M amongst others, it is hard to believe that 2012 has seen the very first fragrance from the Material girl.
