90:10 for men who are 90% grown up.
Every so often, a new design concept just comes along to make you smile. 90:10, a brand new name in mens clothing, does just that. 90:10 is a new and exciting brand for men. The 90:10 name comes from the mantra of the company, that men can be 90% Grown up, but with the other 10% remaining a kid at heart – something I think most men (particularly the ones in my life) would totally identify with. The company is the brainchild of Dan Glatman, who wanted to create designs that were not aimed at teenagers, but instead at grown men who still know how to have a good time…

Christmas jumpers for everyone
I saw my first Christmas House last night. You know what I mean, the houses that I always refer to as Griswold houses after one of my favourite Christmas films, ‘National Lampoons Christmas Vacation’. I did think it was a little early to be decking the halls as such, but it did give me a warm glow too – Christmas is coming! With all that in mind, my Friday shopping focus could only look at one thing – the Christmas Jumper. Jacamo gets the feet Autumn Ready
When Jacamo approached me with a view to doing a review of their provision/website earlier this year, I will admit I had a few preconceptions. The main one was that Jacamo was a brand that catered for the plus sized – but for men rather than women. A quick look around their website told me that this was only half the story. The site carries branded items from the likes of French Connection, Penguin, Joe Browns and Lambretta, as well as a collaborative range with Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff. I have to admit I was really impressed by the wide choice available. Unfortunately, a family holiday made the review virtually impossible…

Getting ready for the World Cup Final with Moonpig
If we remove England’s poor performance from the Equation, it has to be said that the 2014 World Cup has been superb. There was the shocking early exits for the holders Spain, Portugal and Italy. The amazing goal keeping display from Tim Howard, the star making performances for Columbia’s Rodriguez, and then, last night, the gobsmacking display as the Germans annihilated and humilated the hosts Brazil in a 7-1 drubbing. It all makes the final a mouthwatering prospect. Just in time for Sunday’s final, Moonpig have a great range of football inspired t-shirts that you can keep as a fabulous memento of a truly memorable World Cup. There are designs…

Scaramouche and Fandango – pamper the man in your life
The rather wonderfully named Scaramouche and Fandango is a great new beauty range aimed at the man in your life. You may remember some of the products were featured in the very popular men’s beauty box that Selfridges launched in time for Father’s Day. After featuring the box on Fashion-Mommy, the lovely people from Scaramouche and Fandango asked if I (or hubby Pete to be more precise) would be interested in taking some of the products for a proper test drive. Of course we said yes, and here is what Pete thought of this new range. Pete is pretty good at taking care of his skin. His work in the…
