The Gatsby Girl premiere and shop the trend at Lipsy
The Great Gatsby is turning out to be the most influential fashion event of 2013. The premiere at the Cannes film festival on Friday was a super stylish event which saw the attendees pulling out all the stops in the style stakes. To put it quite simply, the abundance of beautiful looks on the big screen meant that it was simply unthinkable not to make the same amount of effort off-screen. Most fashion critics even commented on how glamorous the normally low-key star, Carey Mulligan looked on the red carpet, with sleek long hair and a slash of red lipstick. Dreaming of beautiful houses
I often find myself dreaming about where I would live if I won the lottery. Now, this is a little silly in many ways, not least in that I rarely buy a lottery ticket, let alone win more than £10 (and that gets me excited – a win is a win, after all), but we can all fantasise, and I find most of my dreams concern houses and apartments, and even superyachts that I have seen on TV and films. Great Gatsby Fever with Collection 8
It is almost here. The most anticipated film for both movie buffs and fashionista’s is set to be launched at the Cannes Film festival. And from stills already released, we know that we are in for a treat. The Great Gatsby has been made into a film on at least two occasions, in 1949 with Betty Field and Alan Ladd, and a fashionably iconic but ultimately disappointing 1970s version with Mia Farrow and Robert Redford as the ill fated lovers Daisy Buchanan and Jay Gatsby. Now we are waiting to see what Carey Mulligan and Leonardo Di Caprio bring to the roles. The released stills from the movie, the trailer…

If you’ve whittled away extra expenses and are still finding yourself in a financial crisis, the internet could provide you with the extra cents you need to get through the month. It may even help you to chip away at a giant mound of debt. The Web’s move towards re-commerce has introduced some interesting new options for creative spendthrifts. The DVDs and CD’s you’ve listened to one too many times would probably be considered treasures by cinemaphiles and music fans who share your taste in films and music. Finding buyers has…

Celebrity get the look featuring Anne Hathaway, Naomi Watts and Rita Ora
March has arrived, bringing to a close that most starstudded of months. Because whilst February is the shortest month of the year, it certainly isn’t short on glamour. The Oscars, the Brit Awards, The Grammys. The Baftas all of these star studded occasions took place within the confines of those 28 days, bringing so many looks to savour from a host of your favourite celebs. With that in mind, I decided to feature some great lookalike gowns that could help you create that designer look, as well as featuring the real Alexander McQueen dress as worn by Naomi Watts, which is quite simply a work of fashion art. Along with…
