Fred Perry release Amy Winehouse’s posthumous collection.
Fred Perry released the Autumn/Winter 2011 Amy Winehouse for Fred Perry collection on Monday. A statement on their site says that this is with the blessing of Amy’s family, and that royalties and fees from the collection will go to the soon to be established Amy Winehouse foundation. The collection is really poignant, because it is completely, absolutely Amy. You can almost picture her wearing the collection in publicity shots, so close is it to her personal style. The self-styled Rock & Roll Cobbler is celebrating 50 years in the business with a special pop-up exhibition in London’s Selfridges.
