Nancy Shevell – one stylish bride!
The most stylish women of the past week has to be the new Mrs Paul McCartney. Last Sunday Paul made the American heiress Nancy Shevell his third wife, and she looked absolutely amazing. Wearing a knee-length, 1940s inspired dress created by her new daughter-in-law Stella, Nancy showed off the sort of ageless glamour that so many of today’s starlets can only dream of. (Yes..I mean you, The Saturdays…) I tweeted about how fantastic I thought Nancy looked in that simple yet elegant dress, and was amazed at how many other people seemed to be of the same opinion. Words like timeless, chic and sophisticated were used, and everyone seemed incredulous…

A rare sighting of the lesser spotted Duchess of Cambridge
There was a rare sighting of the Duchess of Cambridge this weekend, as she attended…you’ve guessed it…yet another society wedding. Kate was attending the wedding of Harriet Colthurst and Thomas Sutton, and looked beautiful wearing a raspberry coloured lace dress by Collette Dinnigan with Prada heels. At first I thought the dress may have been another Erdum design, as it was similar in style to the navy lace dress that she wore when she touched down in Canada. I love Kate in this shade, it seriously enhances her colouring and highlights her brunette locks. Collette Dinnigan was an interesting choice, as she is South African born and Australian based, so,…

A glittering event at Swarovski Crystallized.
The Swarovski Crystalized flagship store, on Great Marlborough Street, London, was the scene of a fabulous, sparkly party last week. This event was held as part of the 30 days of Fashion and Beauty event. And Fashion-Mommy was on hand to bring you all the gossip and pictures. The store, for those who have never visited, is a bright and shiny palace in which to worship the beautiful Swarovski jewels. On two levels, the top floor contains a chic bar and seating area, complete with the most gorgeous silver seating I have ever seen. Each specially invited guest was given tickets for drinks, this being sparkling Prosecco complete with raspberries…

Pippa’s Stylish September continues.
The wardrobe must be never-ending, an Aladdin’s closet of super looks. And I don’t mind admitting that it is a never-ending source of fascination to me. Pippa Middleton must plan her outfits down to the last detail, no-one can look that great every day without some serious effort. Here are some of her great looks from the past week, which, you’ve guessed it, includes yet another wedding! Block colours, booties and a seriously hot studded bag all added up to a fabulous look this week. I love the teal shade to this shift dress, and I also think her hair looked super sleek in a ‘show’ ponytail. The boots and…
