Celebrity get the look featuring Kate Middleton, Jennifer Lawrence and Freida Pinto
After the excitement and high glamour of the Golden Globe awards, it’s time to look at some more celebrity looks that can be achieved by shopping the High Street. Some of the looks featured are my interpretations of great style, from Hollywood stars like Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams and Freida Pinto. Other looks are actually the real thing, to be found in store and online right now.
First up is the Duchess of Cambridge. That painting that was unveiled last week sure is awful, but Kate’s French Connection blouse is anything but. Unfortunately, the sale item has almost sold out in every colour. However, there are a few left in white, which I think is a very versatile option that could look amazing with cigarette pants.
LK Bennett have relaunched those perfect nude heels, the Sledge, an absolute confirmed favourite of the Duchess, and the perfect neutral shoe. I so need a pair of these in my life!
Next up is that lovely X Factor star Ella Henderson, who tweeted a very sweet picture of herself wearing a great dress from In Love with Fashion. Ella is wearing the black version, but this dress also comes in this season’s hot OxBlood Shade.
Another longstanding Love fan is Una Healy. The Saturdays singer is currently enjoying the sun in the US and so can get away with this playsuit, but I think this would look fab with some chunky opaque tights and a studded shoe boot. Alternately, you can just wait for some warm weather to hit the UK. (Sigh).
Freida Pinto always makes interesting choices, and I think she looked just fabulous in this flouncy monochrome mini dress. Dorothy Perkins have this design which I think is a great alternative to Freida’s look.
At a Pre Golden Globes party, Jennifer Lawrence showed why she has been named on of the most beautiful women in the world recently. Wearing a cornflower blue dress that I believe is a Victoria Beckham design, Jennifer just sizzled. You can get a similar look from Very in a lovely dress from the Mylene Klass collection.
And finally, also at the same event, the very lovely Amy Adams showed that she is no slouch in the style department in a sophisticated green shift style dress from Herve Le Laroux. You can get a similar style in the current Reiss sale, a total bargain for £113.

Some gorgeous items and yes the Sledge is a must have – I’d love a pair too! We now have an LK Bennett here in Atlanta – hooray!

How exciting, you now need to share some of those American stores with the UK – I’m thinking Target with all those designer and celeb collections!
