Celebs wear High Street too – featuring Ella Henderson, Lydia Bright and Alex Jones
Autumn is bringing a bumper selection of fashionable celebrities wearing a whole range of fabulous High street and online finds. From X Factor stars to the ladies from TOWIE and other reality telly, there are a whole host of ladies finding the sort of treasures you can uncover for yourself on a Saturday afternoon.
Tulisa wears French Connection
This is how I like to see Tulisa dress, a pretty frock that has been toughened up with a fabulous leather biker jacket from French Connection that you can buy for less than £100. The Athena jacket is an investment buy that will last for years. It also comes in a great Stone version for those who prefer something slightly less rock star.
Alesha Dixon wears Miss Selfridge
At the recent Look Show, Alesha looked incredible in a heavily embellished skirt which she wore with a matching top. The pencil skirt is a buy I would definitely recommend. With the embellished top it gives the look of a dress, but I would love to see this with a simple black vest top, and maybe that French Connection leather jacket too.
Lydia Bright in Miss Selfridge
Lydia is the perfect style ambassador for Miss Selfridge, gorgeous, super stylish and eclectic in her choices. At London fashion week she teamed a shrunken style tuxedo with a very on trend maroon fedora. I love that Lydia mixed the masculine tailoring of the tuxedo with the boho pretty print of her maxi dress.
Jameela Jamil wears Daisy Street
Another celebrity who enjoyed LFW was Jameela Jamil. Her eye-caching footwear for the PPQ show was from great online brand Daisy Street. These are just fabulous because they lift every outfit into the realm of something special. I love the idea of these with a little black dress, no other accessories would be needed.
Alex Jones uses a Zatchel
It seems that not a week goes by without another celebrity being spotted with a Zatchel. One of the latest was ‘The One Show’s’ Alex Jones, who opted for a glossy gold version of the must-have bag. I love the gold, and think this bag is going to feature on an awful lot of Christmas wish lists this year.
Una Healy wears Ax Paris and Daisy Street
Like a lot of new mom’s, Una Healy seems to be restricting a lot of her shopping to online brands. AX Paris is already a favourite of the singer, and her shell print top is currently in the sale, making it a great item to buy now, and then save until next Summer.
I also loved the glam white top with studding detail on the sleeves that she wore to the Nylon Party this week. This is another great buy from Daisy Street for £19.99, and it also comes in a rather gorgeous khaki colour way.
Lauren Pope and Aislyne Horgan Wallace wear Jaydah Jewellery
One of the hottest jewellery brands to emerge in 2012 has been Jaydah. So it is no wonder that it is fast gaining celebrity fans. TOWIE star Lauren Pope wore the beautiful black geometric ring that has a definite Art Deco feel. This is such a statement piece it is hard to believe that it costs just £12.99.
Aislyne Horgan Wallace looked fabulous in a collar design from the Geo Queen collection. Again this is a truly beautiful and versatile piece that can help you to dress up the simplest outfits – it would look fabulous over a simple t-shirt, or with a round neck jumper to create interest on the neckline.
Ella Henderson wears Ted Baker
And last, but by no means least, we have current X Factor golden girl Ella Henderson. I have a feeling that Ella may well be sponsored by Ted Baker before very long as she wears their dresses so well. In the first live show she wore a fairy style dress called the Telago in a nude/pink shade. This dress is current Ted Baker, and also comes in a glorious navy shade that I personally prefer, although the pink was a great match for Ella’s hair and colouring.
