Boohoo Press Day – frills, brocade and a bit of Chanel styling
If you are sitting there thinking that Boohoo is one for the younger crew, think again. I attended the Boohoo Spring/Summer preview a couple of weeks ago and just fell in love with so many things, if my bag had been big enough I would’ve been leaving with quite a few of them. Boohoo is just known for really affordable ‘fast fashion’, but that doesn’t mean that style is abandoned. On the contrary, there are some pieces that could come from a designer atelier. Just check out the Chanel style jackets and coats that scream Lagerfeld, or the beautiful quilted, embroidered boots that have more than a touch of McQueen…

Celebrity Style spots featuring Kate Beckinsale, Fearne Cotton and Pippa Middleton
So much fab celebrity style on show at the moment. Everything from warm winter looks from Fearne Cotton who I think is giving a masterclass in maternity style, to Ella Henderson, showing us how to look young and fresh without resorting to showing the flesh. The Kardashian’s have taken London and are currently showing us how to wear their new collection for Dorothy Perkins (how amazing does Kim look in that form fitting red dress) whilst Kate Beckinsale adds a bit of Hollywood style in one of my absolute favourite labels – Preen. X Factor Fash Off Week 4 – Happy Halloween.
Last weeks X Factor is destined to be remembered for Cigarettes and Alcohol rather than any of the performances on the night. Gary Barlow’s shockingly rude comment about Tulisa’s fagash breath seemed out of the character for a man usually renowned as a gentleman, and left the other judges in a state of shock. (Louis Walsh’s face was an absolute picture). The comment certainly overshadowed the fashion on display, which predictably had a dark feel to keep in with the Halloween theme. X Factor Fash Off – Week 3 – A very mixed bag
Week three of the X Factor live shows, and it was safe to say it was not a vintage week in terms of fashion or music. With only Ella, James and District 3 impressing during the live show, and with dubious outfits from both Tulisa and Nicole, it was again left to Ella Henderson to add some style and class to the proceedings.
