Charity Shop, Vinted and Vintage Finds

It’s been quite a while since I did a post about my charity shop, Vinted and vintage buys, so here we are, with a few car boot sale finds thrown in for good measure. Autumn is a time when Charity shops, much like all regular High Street stores, change their ranges for warmer items, so this is a great time to pick up a new coat, knit jumpers and winter boots at bargain prices.

In addition, with Christmas on it’s way, there are chances to grab party wear, with most Charity shops having a rail dedicated to Christmas party wear, including all things sequins and velvet, as well as pretty party accessories – paste jewellery, jewel coloured shoes and glamorous evening bags. There are also Christmas gift items available, with most charity shops selling their own, new stock ranges of unusual charity Christmas cards, gift ideas and decorations.

I would definitely recommend checking out your local charity shops if you are looking to add some pieces to your winter wardrobe, or are looking for something specific for Christmas day dressing or a party. You should be able to find something different and interesting for a fraction of the High Street price, and will also be contributing to a worthwhile charity, and not to fast fashion landfill.
