Christmas Jumpers from BHS
Aah Christmas jumpers. Once something only worn by embaressing uncles, or children who had been forced to wear one of nan’s awful knitting creations, the Christmas jumper has now passed into that so bad it is brilliant catagory, and they even have their own day dedicated to them. (I believe it is December 18th this year, but don’t quote me.) It seems that if you are getting into the Christmas spirit, you need to get yourself a Christmas jumper.
Luckily, not all designs are garish and unwearable. Every year BHS seems to come up trumps with designs that are both cute and cuddly. Robins, penguins, polar bears and pretty Christmas trees are all included in their designs, with black and grey being the popular colours. In addition, they have designs for those who want to be seasonal, without necessarily being festive, so we have sparkles and Fair Isle prints that give a Winter/glamorous feel without actually shouting Christmas in your face. Of course, these designs are also practical in that they look good long after December 25th has been and gone. BHS also has a couple of gorgeous jersey Christmas tops, perfect if you don’t like to wear chunky knitwear.
It is the perfect time to snap up your Christmas sweater, as BHS currently has up to 30% off all knitwear, so you can get a real saving on your chosen piece.
Are you planning on wearing a Christmas jumper this year?

I never wear Christmas jumpers, but I think I might get one this year as they are going from bad to pretty!

That’s my thought exactly, nicer colours and prettier motifs. I want the stag top to wear with a tulle skirt – how Carrie Bradshaw might do a Christmas jumper!

I love a good Christmas jumper! My favourite from your list is probably the ‘Ivory Fair Isle Yolke’ 🙂

Think I will be popping into a BHS store. Loving the jumpers, especially the first one.
