Debenhams and Dr Miriam Stoppard Nuture range -Finally, pretty maternity bras!
When I was pregnant with Baba, my already big boobs swelled to the point of being boulders. They felt heavy and sore, and needed even more support than usual in an attempt to avoid them reaching the news. Maternity bras were the only answer, but many still had a really old-fashioned,ultra structured look to them. In addition, I had always worn boned bras for support, and yet I was now reading evidence that this was a bad thing during pregnancy and needed to look at a softer option. Confused? You bet I was.
Which is why I think the Dr Miriam Stoppard/Debenhams collaboration on a range of maternity/nursing bras is a fabulous idea. Called ‘Nuture’, these bras have been designed using Miriam’s expert knowledge of how breasts both grow, and change shape during pregnancy. They come in sizes 34B to 40g, and they are fantastically pretty. Featuring lace, ditsy floral prints and pretty dots, these bras are super soft, have thick straps that offer good support and drop cups for nursing.
