Distinctive Chesterfields on Celebrity Big Brother
Another crazy season of Celebrity Big Brother ended last week, with the likeable Scotty T crowned as champion. It is a series that will go down as one of the most memorable in recent TV history, what with the death of David Bowie while his ex wife Angie was in the house (and with Tiffany thinking it was housemate David Gest that had died.). Then there was the romance between Jeremy and troubled ex Hollyoaks star Steph, and the very strange appearance of Gillian McKeith. All this went to make those post eviction interviews very interesting indeed.
And talking of post eviction interviews, you may have spotted the rather gorgeous red velvet tub chairs that Emma Willis and the evicted celebs were sitting on during their grilling. The chairs are from the company Distinctive Chesterfields, and the chair in question was the Ragley design, which actually come in a range of fabrics and colours, including leather and velvet, and is priced at £549.
Distinctive Chesterfield says this about the chair:-
“…Handmade in Yorkshire from beech hardwood, hand-covered tufted buttons and studded with polished brass nails, they were designed to fit the striking Vaudeville theatre style of the 2016 BB House, with Victorian glam, old time opulence and the plushness of the bygone theatre era.”
I loved the chairs, they definitely had that theatrical feeling, and added a real element of glamour to those interviews, no matter who was actually sitting in the chair. But we should not be surprised by this, as it is not the first time that Distinctive Chesterfields has been involved with the Big Brother look. In 2014, they offered their customers a version of the large corner sofas that were used in the main living room of the house. (You can view them here).
If you would like to own your own little bit of TV history, you can get your own Big Brother armchair at Distinctive Chesterfields right now.

I loved this series of Celebrity Big Brother and would love to own some of the furniture – not sure it would match my house though! x
