Fashion Focus – Next New Season Coats and Jackets

It has been such a beautiful day, with blue skies and a sunshine brightening up the day. But returning home this evening, there was most definitely a chill in the air, to remind us that we are now in Autumn, and the realms of an Indian Summer. So while it is quite OK to keep wearing the sandals at the moment, the days of wearing our coats is just around the corner, and we need to keep a jacket to hand for those chillier days just in case.

Next have launched their Autumn/Winter collection, and it contains some really exceptional Autumn jackets, and a great range of Winter coats. We are still seeing a lot of the soft pink that was so popular last year (maybe because there were so many sell outs last year?) and biker styles are also still strong in the popularity stakes. Funnel and higher necks are also featured, these are great as you don’t necessarily need to add a scarf, and I also think they look good over a little black dress for evening occasions.

Expect to see capes featuring strongly, as well as faux fur in a range of colours, from soft cream to (you’ve guessed it), even more pink.

With collections now hitting stores, now is the perfect time to forward plan your winter wardrobe around the coat that catches your eye.
