February Style Post #WIWT
February. It came and went in a flash of the eye, which was a good thing, as for most of the month we were absolutely freezing. But it was also a fun month, with half term and lots of theatre trips, and even a brief period of sunshine in the middle of the month.
The fashion of the month, the theme of the month almost, was that it was definitely jumper weather. I’ve become rather obsessed with chunky cuddly knits lately, a warm jumper is like a hug and something that can be glamorous, pretty, cosy, chunky and even elegant – not many items of clothing can say all that!
This month’s fashion round up takes in a glamorous wedding (on one of the warmest days of the month thank the lord), a new coat picked up for a song in New Look and perfect for Spring, and more jeans than I usually tend to wear – usually the Frankie ultra skinny variety from Dorothy Perkins – ultra stretchy and skinny making them perfect for curvy girls looking for plus size fashion like moi.
As usual, if I can point to the item if I can, or to something that looks similar if not.
Here’s to Spring now, and hopefully sunny days, although, with the Beast from the East 2 on it’s way – maybe we’ll see even more jumpers in next Month’s round up.
