Friday Fashion – Work Wear Updates.
You’ve enjoyed that Summer holiday, but now it is nose back to the grindstone time, so what better time to update your work wear wardrobe. The days of having to turn up for work in a masculine suit have long since past, and, today you can look stylish, sophisticated and work smart in a range of pieces, from Diane Von Furstenbury dresses to culottes and tailored silk blouses.
Wallis New Work Wear pieces
Wallis has always been a good place to look for sharp tailoring and pieces that can take from the office to bar with ease. This season, they are leading the way when it comes to shirts and blouses, with bright orange and olive green shades adding interest to the neat cuts and shapes.
A dress is a great option for work, add a tailored blazer and a low heeled shoe and it can take you through nearly every work occasion. This monochrome dress is a Diane Von Furstenberg dupe, a classic shape and design.
An alternative to a smart dress is a tailored culotte suit or jumpsuit. The classic print for workwear pieces is a pinstripe, and this version is gorgeous – you could easily layer this over knee high boots and a polo neck once Winter really sets in.

When I was younger I always associated Wallis being a very good workwear brand! That pinstripe culotte jumpsuit is amazing! Unfortunately in my job I have to wear a uniform they provide but I’d love to be able to wear smart clothing for my job!
