Occasion wear at Quiz Clothing
Yesterday I received my first invitation to an event that I describe as part of summer season. It is for a ladies day lunch and seasonal style and fashion show and is being hosted at Birmingham’s Botanical gardens, and will call for a knockout dress. This invite is sure to be followed by invites to ‘Ladies Day’ events at the races and the tennis, any number of wedding invites and generally for events that call for occasion wear. So the question is, what to wear?
Fashion-Mommy does Ladies Day and Weddings
I have a few go-to shops when it comes to occasion wear, but have recently discovered a new one. Quiz Clothing have recently launched a new line of occasion wear just in time for Summer 2016 and it is full of exquisite dresses that should take you to any special event this Summer. These dresses range from full length gowns that would be suitable for proms or to wear as bridesmaid or Maid of Honour dresses, to shorter gowns that would be lovely for Regatta’s, race days or if you are a wedding guest.
There are dresses that tie in with so many of the key trends we are seeing for Summer. Floral prints are a big style story, and Quiz has these in bold and pastel colourways. Bardot sleeves are also a key trend, and these are well represented by the range too. I love the fact that the colours in the collection are so varied – whether you want something soft and romantic, a classic little black dress, or something in a bold shade, you should be able to find just what you are looking for here.

I would never think to try Quiz but some of those dresses are stunning – the sequin one and that last red one are real showstoppers! I went to Aintree last month and had such a hard time finding the right dress, I got one from Whistles in the end and love it.

These are gorgeous, I love the sequinned one!! I don’t really have a go-to for occasion wear (I’m not really at the age where a lot of my friends are getting married yet), I tend to just shop around as and when I need something. I’ll definitely be having a look in Quiz next time, though!!

Oh wow!! I love the white satin flower print dress. We have a wedding next month and I am trying to find a back up dress to wear as the one I have brought probably wont fit due to all the sangria and ice cream I have been having the past few weeks! Gorgeous dresses!
