Reviewed: Vivaia Audrey Loafers

Vivaia may just be the most comfortable, most eco friendly shoes around. Earlier this year I reviewed the Margot Mary Janes (you can find that post here) and I have literally lived in them since. Today I am stepping away from the Mary Janes design and am looking at the Audrey, which is Vivaia’s play on the classic loafer. As I have come to expect from Vivaia, these are shoes that look great, feel so comfortable to wear all day every day, and don’t hurt the planet. They are eco friendly, and are also the most vegan friendly shoes you can find.

The Audrey

The Audrey Round-Toe Embroidered Loafers come in a range of colours and designs, but I opted for the classic black with the quirky cheetah print, that I think Wallis Simpson would’ve loved. I wear my usual size 5 in this design, and would definitely so they are true to size. The design come in half sizes too, which I think is brilliant.

My Thoughts

My initial thoughts were just how stylish these shoes are. Teaming black with an animal print is a complete style no brainer, it always looks chic and elegant, and this is certainly the case here. My second thought is how comfortable this design is to wear. It is quite literally like wearing a pair of slipper, you can easily wear these all day, so they would make an incredible work shoe if you are on your feet all day.

The round toe design is kind to your toes, whilst the natural Artemisia Argyi herbal insole, with arch and foot support and a heel patch gives you added comfort. These are antimicrobial and breathable – what’s not to love?

Eco Friendly

All Vivaia shoes are made from recycled materials that would otherwise turn up in landfill. Their packaging is also eco friendly, and each pair of shoes is vegan, making them a sustainable, conscious choice. The quality is amazing, making these shoes that you will be able to wear for years to come.

Styling

The Audrey loafers from Vivaia are so easy to style up or style down. They look great with jeans for a casual daytime look, but you can also team them with a pretty skirt for a Summery look, or even with a bias cut skirt for a more formal, dressy look.
