Selfridges introduces Charlotte Tilbury Beauty

When you think about the world’s top make-up artists, the inimitable Charlotte Tilbury will always be near the top of your list. One of the world’s most sought after artists, with 20 years experience, from Fashion Weeks all over the world, to creating the faces of the most beautiful and glamorous women around, Charlotte creates the looks that we try to recreate at home. And now she is giving us just a little help in this department.

For the lovely lady has launched a make-up collection at Selfridges. Launched this week, the ‘Charlotte Tilbury Make-Up Collection’ is the perfect way to channel Charlotte’s beauty ideas. Charlotte has created a complete collection that includes her own fabled magic potion, her own magic cream that is a mixture she has been creating for the past 20 years, and promises the wearer to treat and transform the face, giving you ‘age defying, dewy skin.’

What I think is brilliant about the make-up collection is that it has been organised into a series of looks that means there is something for everyone. There are make-up looks to suit young skin with the ‘Ingenue’ range,  and more mature looks with the ‘Sophisticate’. There are echoes of Charlotte’s good friend Kate Moss in the ‘Rock Chick’ items, whilst Hollywood glamour reigns supreme in ‘the vintage vamp’, ‘the Bombshell’ and ‘the glamour muse’.

This is a wonderful collection, full of great colours. With exquisite packaging that brings to mind vintage Biba, this collection is proving popular, with sell-outs already appearing.  Although I really shouldn’t mention the ‘C’ word, I will – these items would make amazing Christmas presents for a beauty buff.
