It may have started as an American phenomenon, but Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the accompanying Cyber Weekend have now become a part of Christmas shopping. Fashion Focus – Adding red to your wardrobe
Following on from yellow and blue, my latest colour focus is based on the hottest colour, one that is, quite literally, red hot. Yes, Red is having a bit of a moment, with a host of celebrities wearing the colour to a number of high profile events. From the gorgeous Kate Upton in a lighter shade of red that borders on coral, to Elle Fanning resembling a young Gwyneth Paltrow in a sizzling scarlett silk number, red is making an appearance in all its shades and glory. Spring at Dorothy Perkins
Spring has sprung at Dorothy Perkins, and it is looking very, very pretty. The High Street store is always one of my fave places to visit when I’m updating my wardrobe for the new season for many reasons. It covers the trends, but not in a fashion victim way. It offers lots of variety, with the additional ranges like Billie & Blossom and Little Mistress. And, most importantly for thrifty fashionista’s, it offers great quality at reasonable prices. The season, Dorothy Perkins is showcasing gorgeous Spring florals, both in strong prints and applique detailing.
