Kate wears Tory Burch for a visit to Plunket
Prince George may well have stolen the show, as well as toys belonging to other babies, but Duchess Kate showed, once again, her impeccable fashion credentials during a visit to Plunket, a New Zealand well baby programme, on the second day of the Royal Tour. Opting for a stylish, yet practical option, Kate was able to get down on the floor and play with the baby prince, whilst looking cool and elegant – and that is no mean feat. The monochrome, graphic print dress that Kate wore was the Paulina dress from American designer Tory Burch. I’m not sure if Kate has ever worn Tory Burch clothing before, the designer…

Duchess Kate starts the New Zealand Tour in Catherine Walker Red
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and that gorgeous cutie Prince George have arrived in New Zealand for their much anticipated tour, with Kate totally wowing in bright and vibrant red. On the windiest of days, the Duchess opted for a designer that harked back to previous royal tours of Australia and New Zealand by wearing a design from the design house of Catherine Walker. Catherine Walker, was, of course, the favourite designer of Diana, Princess of Wales. The press have already picked up on this, with some suggesting this is another tribute to Prince William’s mother. I’m not so sure of this, I think Kate chose red as a…

Duchess Kate wears LK Bennett Detroit Dress
Duchess Kate has worn her first new look of the year on a visit to Northolt High School in Ealing today, and she again went for a High Street Label. Choosing one of her favourite shades of blue, Kate looked chic and beautiful in the Detroit dress from LK Bennett. With its notched collar detail, this dress gives the impression of a bolero jacket over a shift style dress. The three quarter sleeves and the modest neckline make this another elegant choice for the Duchess. At the time of writing, the dress is still available in almost all sizes on the LK Bennett website, but this is sure to change…

Duchess Kate ends the year in Style
In terms of pure style, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge has had another triumphant year. She showed that maternity style could be chic and elegant, wearing much of her pre-pregnancy wardrobe with aplomb, and making Seraphine a household name. Since the birth of Prince George. Kate has worn great look after great look. Of course, the Duchess has stayed true to her recycling roots. There have been reappearances from Orla Kiely and Roland Mouret, showing that if a look is good, it is too good to just be worn once. She has also once again taken inspiration from High Street favourites, most recently in the Delaney Coat from Reiss. And she…

Duchess of Cambridge – a round-up of recent looks
Slowly but surely, Duchess Kate is heading back towards her public duties, and she’s doing it in the sort of style she has made her trademark. Beautiful gowns, wardrobe favourites that we have seen before and a new, soft hairstyle that is slightly reminiscent of ringlets, Kate shows why she is fully deserving of her nomination for Style Icon at this year’s British Style Awards. One of my favourite Kate looks from this year has to be the elegant midnight blue dress by Jenny Packham. Kate wore this higher up on the shoulders than the dress was worn on the catwalk, making this a more refined, ladylike look. The shade…
