Living ‘The Good Life’ with Stacks of Flavour
When I was growing up, one of the TV programmes that I loved to watch was reruns of ‘The Good Life’. The 1970s series, which followed Tom and Barbara Good and their attempts to become self-sufficient, was a major hit that was voted the 9th best sitcom of all time in 2004, and is, in some ways, more relevant that ever today, when more and more people are having a go at growing their own fruit, vegetable and herbs. Thermafreeze perfect for Bank holiday picnics
As we edge ever closer to the final bank holiday of the year, thoughts will turn of how to spend that precious day off from work and school. A day at the beach, a trip to a theme park or just an afternoon spent in playing in your local park will all be an option, and one way of saving money is by taking a picnic lunch and your own drinks. Green Giant Minions
Minions fever is about to hit all over again. Next week sees the release of the Minions own movie, which starts in New York 1968 (42 years before Gru). All our Minion favourites are back including my own personal favourite Kevin, and it seems that the excitement about the strange and hilarious yellow creatures is about to explode all over again. It even reached Birmingham’s Museum and Art Gallery, where, this week a rather wonderful Minion related video was filmed on CCTV, which literally enchanted the World. Some might say that The Minions resemble a large piece of sweetcorn, albeit one with a face, and to celebrate the new Minion…

Sainsbury’s celebrating the best of Easter
Easter is coming! Yes, with some children breaking up for the Easter break this Friday (not my son though, who has to wait until 2nd April for his freedom), our minds are turning to thoughts of chocolate, Easter egg hunts, fluffy Easter chickens, and all manner of food. With all that in mind, Sainsbury’s have produced a great new ad campaign that celebrates all the best things about a traditional, delicious British Easter. I love this video, because it shows all the fun and reality of a British Easter. There is the chance to have fabulous picnics and family barbecues – as long as the notorious British weather allows it.…
