Evans – My picks from an AMAZING sale
Loving the online sales? The wait until you visit the Evans sale. This one is absolutely amazing with HUGE reductions on so many items, including the glorious Clements Ribeiro collection. This sale will basically sort out your summer wardrobe, and will then also provide you with items that will see you right into the A/W with ease. I couldn’t resist dipping into it, getting the Clements Ribeiro ‘Joan’ dress, which can only have been named for the Christina Hendricks character in Mad Men, and I am sorely tempted by so many other items..but I am trying to be good. So here are my tops picks – but get there quick,…

Barbara Hulanicki’s latest drop for George – Jubilee fever
Barbara Hulanicki’s latest collection has arrived at Asda George, and it has a definite Jubilee feel to it. As regular readers of Fashion-Mommy know, I have great love for the Barbara Hulanicki and George collaboration. For a start, I love the very easy to wear designs that often come in stretch cotton or jersey. The collection is always hugely affordable and draws on Barbara’s iconic 60s and 70s designs for Biba. reviving beautiful prints for a new generation to enjoy. And I also think the collection always has something for everyone, from pretty skater style dresses to more sophisticated wrap styles. The latest collection is all about the red, white…

Jessie J – Her best Looks
She adds the glamour to The Voice, the touch of femininity on a panel chocked full with testosterone. Jessie J is currently one of the most photographed and lusted over women in the World at the moment, and her wardrobe inspires avid admiration from her legions of fans. Jessie’s wardrobe has a tomboyish edge. On The Voice we have no Cheryl Cole style evening dresses or Tulisa form-fitting mini’s, Jessie opts for skin-tight leggings and leather trousers teamed with duster and kimono style jackets in a sea of bold primary colours. Jessie’s figure is amazing, she knows she can get away with the form-fitting catsuits that would have many of…

Style focus – Marina Diamandis
The great thing about British pop music is that quirky style Queen’s always emerge to add extra visual interest to those videos on heavy rotation on MTV. From punk Queens like Poly Styrene, to 80s legends Bananarama and more recent songstresses like Paloma Faith, Shingai Shoniwa, Amy Winehouse and Jessie J, British singers have shown a style and uniqueness that has made them quirky, unique and highly original. The latest lady to add into the mix is Marina Diamandis, also known as Marina and the Diamonds. When Marina first emerged I found her style to be a little bit too garish, full of wacky prints and body skimming catsuits. But…

Caggie Dunlop’s final hurrah in Chelsea.
She has been the undisputed Queen of Chelsea, keeping us hooked with her will they, won’t they romance with Spencer Matthews, and her fabulous wardrobe. But Caggie Dunlop will disappear from the Made in Chelsea series after episode 2, leaving her many fans distraught that they won’t be able to access that severely lustworthy wardrobe for a weekly fix. Caggie may be moving onto pastures new, apparently to make music with a little help from Plan B(what is it with Chelsea Girls and their rappers), but I feel a little tribute to that great wardrobe is in order. A gorgeous blonde, Caggie enjoys wearing pastels and ice cream shades that…
