Clarks and Liberty Arts Prints – they’re back!

One of my favourite collaborations last year was the one between Clarks shoes and Liberty Arts prints. The coming together of two classic British brands was a major success, combining the exquisite retro prints from Liberty, with Clarks great and durable design.

Well, the great news is that a new collection has just been launched, with the emphasis very much on the court shoe. There are two major designs currently, the peep toe and the suede full court shoe. Each has a mid height heel, making them perfect as a very stylish work shoe, and there are both patent leather and suede designs available.

Also in the collection are a couple of über gorgeous bags. This is where the Liberty print really comes into its own.  The Minorca Bay print, with its fan-like design, translates beautifully onto a very practical barrel bag, and can also be paired with the equally lovely Rimini Bay purse, sporting the stunning Art Nouveau print.

Clarks Dollar Tango take us dancing into Autumn

The very lovely people at Clarks helped me to celebrate my second blog birthday in style by offering to send me a wonderful pair of shoes.  I had already expressed my lust for a certain pair in a shoe post, so it was a very easy choice to make. I chose the Dollar Tango heels, and if I was in lust from viewing them on a website, then I am now totally in love with them. In short, these shoes are just perfect!

The Dollar Tango shoes hark back to the wonderful style of the 1920s and 1930s. These were the days when the flapper styles heralded a new freedom for woman, and the Dollar Tango’s black patent and suede textures, along with the gorgeous tie front and toddle detail, made me think of the days of Clara Bow and Louise Brooks.  But what I really love about these shoes is just how comfortable they are to wear. They contain a hidden platform, which means the heel isn’t quite as unforgiving as it might appear. And they also contain cushioned softwear inside the shoe which cushions the foot, making these shoes comfortable to wear all day long.

Again and again, Clarks seems to produce a perfect pair of shoes that are just THE shoe for the new season, and I am just besotted with the Dollar Tango, which are glamorous and eye-catching, but with that Clarks practicality that the company have become known for. These shoes are chic, glossy and glamorous, and I will be wearing them all through the up coming season and beyond. Hurray for Clarks, yet again!

Tulisa rocks an amazing pair of Office shoes.

As an absolute shoe fanatic, I always notice when a celeb is rocking a particularly fabulous pair. So my shoe antennae were on full alert when I spotted Tulisa sporting these beauties whilst paying a visit to the X Factor House. With the sort of heel that would give you vertigo, a super luxe patent feel and a gorgeous front lace detail, these look like a pair of shoes that wouldn’t leave you change from £500.

So I am so pleased to say that these shoes are from…wait for it….OFFICE. Yes, these really are High Street beauties.  These are the ‘After Dark’ platforms with the added bow and gold clasp details, and they are absolutely amazing. I think these would look good with so many different outfits, and are a must with the glamorous festive season coming up.
