On your marks, get set…the Selfridges sale has begun
And so the sales season continues, with Selfridges the latest to announce their big summer savings. The Selfridges sale is the one that can most likely be classed as an event, they hold very few sales throughout the year, and the savings are always massive, with many items with up to 50% off. This year the sale includes designer items from Isabel Marant, Alexander McQueen, Markus Lupfer and Vivienne Westwood Anglomania. There are also great items from The Kooples, Diesel and a great pair of shoes from KG Kurt Geiger which are a spitting image of my all time favourite pair of shoes – the Carrie Bradshaw blue wedding shoe…

Happy 10th Birthday Selfridges Birmingham
It is hard to believe, But the iconic Selfridges store in Birmingham celebrated its 10th birthday this week. And, of course, being Selfridges, it celebrated with a seriously stylish party, complete with mouth-watering cocktails and canapes, and some seriously quirky entertainment. It is hard to even imagine Birmingham without the stunning Selfridges Building, as much a part of the city skyline as The Rotunda, The BT Tower or St Martin’s in the Bullring. The Moet Bar on the top floor has become a real destination, and so was the perfect setting for the birthday celebrations. Harvey Nichols, Birmingham Blogger Event – Food and fashion!
Last Saturday saw the latest Harvey Nichols, Birmingham Blogger event. Always an unmissable event on the Brum social calender, this one promised amazing food, fab fashion and a touch of beauty, as the bloggers were treated to previews of the Harvey Nichols restaurant menu, Christmas food treats and of course, a presentation of the key fashion trends. The event started in the Harvey Nichols cafe, where we were able to sample some of the delights from the new menu. There were a range of salads, gorgeous roast beef and horse radish sandwiches which I just loved (the horse radish was just so peppery – fabulous), and my personal favourite, haddock…
