    Gok Wan for Sainsburys – Latest Collection

    The latest collection from Gok Wan is set to launch in Sainsburys stores on Thursday, and it is quite a departure from previous ranges. Where past Gok Tu collections have been very body conscious, with curve hugging dresses, pencil skirts, and flattering wide leg trousers, the new range seems to have taken influence from the high-fashion,  sports luxe designs of Alexander Wang, with a bit of scuba dress design a la Philip Armstrong thrown in for good measure.     Best Dressed – Critics Choice Awards

    Another day, another awards ceremony. This time it was the Critics Choice Awards. Amanda Seyfried, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard and Jessica Chastain were just some of the Hollywood superstars who shoved on their finest dress and got those elbows flexed to fight it out in the acting (and fashion) stakes.     Harvey Nichols Birmingham hosts a Spring/Summer 12 preview

    Last Saturday, the brightest and best of Birmingham’s style bloggers  risked the threat of incoming snow to enjoy a touch of Spring. The iconic Harvey Nichols store in the Mailbox hosted a special Spring/Summer preview,complete with fashion show, trend reports and an opportunity for a store walk. And, this being Harvey Nicks, all that fashion was complimented with lashings of champagne. The fashion show was a perfect opportunity to introduce some of the new designs coming to the Birmingham store.
