April Outfit Post #OOTD
A little later than usual, here is my outfit round up for the month of April. April was a busy month of Theatre, Easter and a week in the Welsh sunshine. In terms of weather, the only word I could use is variable – which meant that outfits spanned from woolly jumpers for unseasonably chilly days, to bare legs and short sleeves when the thermometer hit 21 degrees one glorious Sunday. This post is rather full of vintage and charity shop finds. I love wearing dresses, and lately they seem to be of a variety that looks like it has come straight from ‘Bless this House’ or the wardrobe of…

Review – Rosie Lace Skater Dress from Celuu
Last week I wrote an introductory post about Celuu, a British brand that provides grown up, sophisticated clothing for women who really don’t want to dress as teenagers. (You can read that post here) I promised in that post that I would soon be reviewing one of their pieces myself, and here it is. The dress I chose was the Rosie Lace Skater Dress, a beautiful piece that I think would be perfect for a late Spring/early Summer wedding. This is a dress that makes me feel graceful and elegant, and that is something I don’t say that often. This is a skater style dress but with a difference. Skater…

March Outfit Post #WIWT
Another month has been and gone, and I have to say, where is the year going? March is always a month I dread. Sure, I love the coming of Spring, the lighter nights and sunny days that we did get to enjoy last month. But with all that comes a month of birthdays – my dad, my brother, my brother in law and my hubby. It makes March a very expensive month. So thank goodness that Spring also brings more sales, and I have been able to pick up some real bargains over the last month, both online and in store. The charity shops have also been amazing, I have…

February Outfit Post
February. The shortest month but also one of the busiest. With half term falling at the end of the month I had to fit work around Joe’s soccer camp, football presentations and half term treats – this was one of those month’s when I really missed being at home, it seemed like I was out so much. Clothing wise, there has been a mixture of casual and dressy, and I found that the shops were still full of bargains as the sales continued. I’m currently avoiding Spring as it doesn’t feel anywhere near warm enough to be wearing pastels and thinner clothing. That said, some of my best charity shop…

Gudrun Sjoden Organic Knit Tunic Review
I often review truly beautiful items of clothing on the blog, stunning dresses that are worthy of a party or a red carpet event. I love doing this, who doesn’t enjoy wearing something exquisite and princessy? But, my wardrobe is full of other things, the sort of clothes I wear every day, for shopping, football practice and the school run. These pieces are just as important for me, I still like to look and feel stylish, even if I am working from home. I genuinely believe that if you look good, you feel better and totally up your game in whatever you happen to be doing. Gudrun Sjoden is a…
