April Outfit Post #OOTD

A little later than usual, here is my outfit round up for the month of April. April was a busy month of Theatre, Easter and a week in the Welsh sunshine. In terms of weather, the only word I could use is variable – which meant that outfits spanned from woolly jumpers for unseasonably chilly days, to bare legs and short sleeves when the thermometer hit 21 degrees one glorious Sunday.

This post is rather full of vintage and charity shop finds. I love wearing dresses, and lately they seem to be of a variety that looks like it has come straight from ‘Bless this House’ or the wardrobe of Mildred Roper.  I love that vintage offers something that is different from what you will find on the High Street, and that you are not likely to turn up somewhere wearing the same outfit as anyone else. I also love the thrill of finding a bargain at a charity shop, something like the vintage Pierre Cardin heels that cost just £1.99 and are absolutely beautiful, or the 1960s style Chanel cardigan for £2.

As usual, where I can I have linked to the item, or, in some cases, I have linked through to something similar. In general though, a lot of this post is dedicated to getting you to check out your local charity shops. There is such a lot of to be found out there, and you are both helping a charity and the environment too.

What was your favourite item of clothing from the month of April? Did you find yourself a bargain last month?
