Duchess style continues to rule
So it is finally official, the news that all fashion lovers already knew, Duchess Kate is great for the fashion economy. As well as helping companies like Reiss to show huge profits thanks to her patronage of their brands, Kate has helped dresses, fascinators and nude coloured tights to become much sought after items and has guaranteed an instant sell out of any item she wears, or is reported to have bought. Caggie Dunlop – A winter masterclass
Some girls just know how to dress for the really cold weather. I can’t claim to be one of them. Her looks have ranged from princessy feathers to funky coloured tights. DVF 60s style mini dresses to white lace chic Stella McCartney numbers, there is no limit to SJP’s scope for reinvention. My favourite dress is the early 1960s style black…

A snapshot of my seasonal buys.
I don’t usually write posts about my own personal shopping habits, but this year I have found myself having to be a bit frugal in my choices due to having much less disposable funds that usual. This has led to me choosing a mixture of seasonal buys, charity shop finds, and recycling of some very old pieces from my wardrobe. Here are some of the pieces I have invested in this year. Next Buys I was asked to choose a piece from Next’s latest collection after my shoes blog was chosen as one of the best of the month. I totally fell in love with this lace topped piece that…
