Peacocks to release a royal wedding dress for just £60!

Fab High Street store Peacocks were one of the stores who had success with a copy of the Reiss engagement dress, and now they have launched what must be the most reasonably priced copy of the Sarah Burton wedding dress, priced at just £60. This dress is going to be launched as part of the Editions range as an online exclusive on August 6th, and is expected to be an instant sell-out. This is the first time that Peacocks has sold a wedding dress, and  I think this is a very clever move, as this retains the spirit of the royal wedding dress, if not being an identical copy. Kate Middleton slimmed down by Grazia? – Telegraph. If this story is true then I am totally shocked and disappointed by what is usually one of my favourite magazines. According to the Daily Telegraph, Grazia used photoshop to slim down Kate for their special Royal wedding day issue. Kate’s waist appears notably slimmer than in the official shot the cover was based. This is puzzling considering that many thought Kate had lost too much weight in the lead up to the big day. Grazia have denied that they altered the picture to make Kate look slimmer, so compare the two shots and see what you think!

Pippa Middleton – A style Icon is born.

Beautiful, with a fantastic slim figure and a pert bottom that’s fast gaining its own following on Twitter and Facebook, the perfect Pippa Middleton’s Royal wedding dress style has highlighted her as a fashionista to watch. Dressed in her amazing Sarah Burton designed gown. Pippa was, quite simply, the most stylish royal bridesmaid of all time.  Resembling a 1930s bias cut gown worn by screen idols like Myrna Loy and Constance Bennett, the short-sleeved dress, with its draped cowl neckline and pretty row of buttons that ran down an elegant back, fitted Pippa like a glove, making her look stunningly beautiful and sophisticated. No wonder Prince Harry was so taken…

    Kate’s bridal style.

The speculation had been almost frenzied – who would design the wedding dress of the century? Would it be Alice Temperley? Bruce Oldfield was a popular choice for a time, but then tailed off towards the end? Would Kate use Daniella Helayel of Issa, one of her favourite designers? There was a late surge for Sophie Cranston, but on Friday morning at 11.00a.m, the whole of the fashion world  shrieked with pleasure at the news that Kate Middleton had chosen Sarah Burton from the House of Alexander McQueen to design her  wedding dress. And what a beautiful dress it was! Kate Middleton looked truly regal as she walked down the…
