Thomas Sabo launch Sweet Diamonds at The Langham
The Langham hotel is one of London’s finest, a sumptuous art deco haven at the centre of everything. This is where I spent a pleasurable Thursday afternoon a few weeks ago enjoying champers, cupcakes and some of the prettiest jewellery you will ever feast your eyes on when Thomas Sabo previewed their sweet diamonds collection.
The Sweet diamonds collection is a real departure for Thomas Sabo, known for striking large pieces of silver jewellery, and, of course, its exquisite, highly collectable charms. Sweet Diamonds is a collection of delicate pieces that contain real diamonds framed by silver, and, for the first time, 14 caret gold. The collection is highly romantic, full of pretty feminine bows and hearts, making it the perfect collection for a bride, or as gifts for bridesmaids.
As well as the brand new collection, there was also an opportunity to view some of the seasonal offerings that will be making an appearance in gift bags this Christmas. I just adored the gorgeous Polar bear ring, that is both extremely cute and beautiful in equal parts. There were also snowflakes and penguins that sparkled so prettily you just couldn’t help but fall in love with them.
In term of the silver collection, I just loved the create your own jewellery collection, where you can design your own necklaces, pendants and bracelets by adding different charms, disks and pendants. There were some very striking designs in different shapes, and I really love that these pieces are very personal and individual. You can start with basic disks in Mother of Pearl and Onyx, and then add silver filigree Arabesque disks as an overlay. Then you can add a range of charms, from keys to ‘luck’ pendants and pretty gemstones.
All in all, a marvellous array of gorgeous goodies. Many thanks to Thomas Sabo and Task PR for the invite.
