New season means new fashion, and as we now move towards Autumn, we are all starting to think about those transitional pieces that we can wear now, and continue to wear as the days get shorter. Lindex have some brilliant pieces in their Holly & Whyte range that I have been wearing now, and will be continue to wear well into September and October.

Here are a couple of my current faves.

Long-sleeved blouse

A crisp white blouse or shirt is always a style classic, and this one from the Holly & Whyte range is super pretty in its detailing. In 100% organic cotton, it is a truly beautiful piece, one which will work worn casually with jeans or trainers, or more formally under a blazer.

The blouse has a touch of Victoriana about it, with shoulder frills, beautiful button cuff detailing and with a high, but open neckline. It is quite short at the front, so if you want to tuck it in I would opt to go a size up, with a slightly longer back and curved slight side splits, which mean that it looks great worn loose.

The sizing starts from XS and goes up to XL. I am wearing a size large (usually a size 16 in shirts and blouses) and find this to be a very comfortable fit.

Knitted cardigan

We are already at the point of the year when, some days, you need to add a cardigan. This loose, non buttoned knitted cardigan from Lindex is absolutely gorgeous, and something that is just so versatile, whether you want to throw it over a dress, or wear it casually with jeans, or even shorts.

I opted for this deep grey shade, but have to say I’m also a little besotted by the soft pink colourway which is just so super pretty. I love the balloon shaped sleeves, with cuffs that are slightly above the wrist, and the fact that this is designed to be worn loose and casual’ almost like a longer shrug design.

This is a gorgeous, soft and cosy piece that you will definitely love. I am wearing this in M/L.
