Winter Warmers From Temu
It may be February, and Spring should be just around the corner, but frankly, it’s still cold. Freezing in fact, with most days barely into single figures temperature wise. Add in the fact that our heating bills are set to rise again due to the increase in the price cap, and it makes for a very bleak end of Winter.
But fear not, Temu are here to help with the latest cold spell with their own brand of Winter warmers. This is a range of budget friendly products, for the home and for you, that are both cosy and warm, and also super stylish too. Temu are huge fans of finding practical ways to keep the cold at bay, and these are ideas that can also be useful when you are venturing out into the cold, with cosy socks, mittens and hats amongst their key products.
Heat the Human Not The Home!
Temu have quoted Money saving expert Martin Lewis with his concept that you can “heat the human not the home” which he mentioned in his personal blog, suggesting that keeping one’s body warm is more efficient than heating the entire house with expensive central heating. They have come up with the Top Ten ideas which can help you to “heat the human not the home” which you can find below, and I am going to point you out to some of my own personal favourites from the list.
The list
- Hot Water Bottle
- Plush Warmable Waist Belt
- Thermal Insoles
- Window Draft Stopper
- Faux Fur Bucket Hat
- Coldproof Gloves
- Throw Blanket
- Aluminum Foil Insulation Sheet
- CozySoft Plush Slippers
- Warm Socks
My Faves
The Faux Fur Bucket Hat is a stylish addition to your Winter wardrobe. It is a generous size and has a lovely, fluffy feel that is also non itchy. It would look amazing with a smart full length winter coat, and will definitely keep out the chill. Remember, we lose a lot of heat through our heads, so this is one area of the body that you really need to keep warm.
Cozysoft Plush Slippers
I’ll let you into a little secret, I never used to wear slippers. Now, I’m obsessed with them, and the cuter and quirkier, the better. These Cozysoft plush slippers, are character slippers in the form of a cow, and they are easily the softest, most comfortable slippers you will ever wear. They are lovely and roomy, and have non slip soles for safety on any surface.
Throw Blanket
If, like me, you work from home, a throw blanket is essential to ensure you are not having to put your heating on all day long. This throw blanket is generous in size, is soft and pretty thick. It could easily be used as an extra throw/blanket on your bed at night, or worn over your legs to keep you warm during chilly days and nights. It is also perfect for Valentine’s Day as there is more than enough room under it for two!
Coldproof Gloves
Keeping your hands warm in Winter is not always easy – even if you are wearing gloves. These soft and fluffy coldproof gloves are actually mittens, and they are as snug and warm as can be as they are completely lined. I love the Winter white design, which just gives them a feeling of luxury. Add you own white faux fur coat for a very glamorous Winter look.
What are you doing to keep warm this Winter?
