Selfridges Birmingham – Lust Haves and Must haves!
I was part of a very special bloggers evening at Selfridges, Birmingham on Thursday evening. Along with a host of lovely ladies who I am now christening the Brummie Bloggers Collective, including Sunni from WardrobeMag, Sian from teaantoast, Lou from The Style Kaleidoscope, Emily Jayne from EmilyJayne.com, Laura from The Doll on Fashion, Sarah from The Diva Diaries and Clare from Pinklittlebean (from Sheffield, but so lovely she is definitely a honorary Brummie Blogger). Why this Winter is still all about Amy Winehouse
It is 5 months since we heard the tragic news that Amy Winehouse had died, and yet this December is turning into the months that is all about Amy. The launch of a new album, Lioness, which has skyrocketed straight to Number 1, the auction of the now iconic Disaya dress that was worn on the cover of Back to Black, and now the launch of the final collection for Fred Perry means the iconic singer is as much a part of the fashion/Music mainstream as she was at her height. Miracle on Regent street – An interview with Ali Harris
I always read a festive story as the countdown to Christmas begins. And just sometimes I read a story that I get so involved in that I just can’t put it down. That’s how I feel about the wonderful, heartwarming story that is ‘Miracle on Regent Street’. I adored the tails of the long forgotten vintage stock, the hand-made soaps that take on iconic status, and most of all I loved each…

Gorgeous Celebrity Jingle Bells…steal their looks.
The party season is well and truly in swing, but if you haven’t got your outfit sorted yet, maybe you could take some style inspiration from some celebrity fashionistas. There is a style for everyone, and these ladies show that at Christmas, it really is a case of anything goes, from full length beauties to short and sexy styles, taking in a bit of androgynous style along the way. Lea Michele wore an amazing sparkling Valentino number for the premiere of her film ‘New Year’s Eve’. This style will definitely catch the eye and make you the centre of attention, but take a tip from Lea and let the dress…

Duchess Kate rocks the High Street yet again.
The Duchess of Cambridge rocked the Prince’s Trust concert last night and again she chose a High Street fave for her dress. She wore a black and white lace mini dress from Spanish giant Zara, and teamed it with a thick black belt and a Ralph Lauren Jacket, which I believe she wore with another Zara dress as part of her going away outfit after the Royal Wedding. This dress has raised a few eyebrows, as it was far shorter than any outfit she has worn since her wedding, but this was a concert, and so teamed with black tights, this was as close to doing ‘Rock chick’ as Kate…
