One of the greatest things about being a fashion blogger is the opportunity to discover new design talents who bring something different to the style world. A recent discovery of mine, and one which I have just fallen in love with, is the wonderful world of Ness and Pepper scarves. MPW in The Cube – Simply Wonderful!
August has been a pretty special month for Fashion-Mommy. As well as celebrating two years of this blog, I was also celebrating seven years of being married to my long-suffering other half, and the only place I really wanted to celebrate was at MPW in The Cube. Marco Pierre White’ s Birmingham Steakhouse has been a huge success since it opened at the end of last year, with the most fantastic word of mouth reviews for the food, service and ambiance. Charlotte Casiraghi – The new campaign for Gucci
Gucci’s new campaign again stars the beautiful Charlotte Casiraghi, the daughter of Princess Caroline and the granddaughter of the legendary Grace Kelly. Again, rather than full on glamour, it allows Charlotte’s earthy beauty to shine through whilst wearing a simple wardrobe of plain white shirt, cigarette pants and horsebit loafers. The campaign is entitled ‘Forever Now’ and is a showcase for design classics. I love the whole relaxed feel of this campaign, and the beautiful black and white shots taken by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. As one of Team GB’s most glamorous supporters, The Duchess of Cambridge has perfected a style that is both chic and smart, but does not draw undue attention from the athletes.
