February Outfit round-up
As we are now firmly ensconced in March, I thought it was about time I did a run through of some of the outfits I wore in February ( before we hit April, so to speak!). February was a lovely, busy month for me, and some of my outfits have already been featured in the form of reviews, so I have tried not to feature them again, but there were other trips to the theatre, and different events where I dug into the wardrobe to put something suitable together. I have not really purchased much in the way of clothing since the new year, so I have definitely been…

Everyman Cinema opens in The Mailbox
Everyman Cinema’s offer something a little different to the average cinematic experience. Rather than the usual, flip down seating with very little leg room, the Everyman cinemas offer luxurious, sofa style seating with plenty of leg room, mini tables for your drinks, and even footrests. It’s like watching movies from the comfort of your own front room, except you are watching the latest films in perfect definition on a huge screen. The Mailbox…

Lotto Wishlist for Spring
Can you believe that this year it will 21 years since the National Lottery began in the UK? More importantly, can you believe that in 21 years I still haven’t had anything I would class as a decent win? Yes, three numbers is still as good as it gets for me, although for my hubby it was a different story in 2005, when he had 5 numbers, and was just one off the bonus ball too. How that would’ve changed our lives… Still, if I am being honest, I no longer play the UK lottery, having switched to the Euro Millions last year. I use the Online lottery ticket website…

Kate Spade Stationary at Selfridges
As someone who has a weakness when it comes to stationary, I was super excited when I found out that Selfridges had started stocking the wonderfully glamorous stationary range from Kate Spade. Featuring a whole range of notebooks, desk implements, push pins and journals, this range is just the ultimate in glamorous stationary for budding writers, avid diarists and just those who can’t walk past a branch of Paperchase! I took a look around the Birmingham branch and was instantly drawn to the wonderful ‘Idions’ pencils, the binder clips and the glasses pencil case (all featured below). I thought these would be super stylish for the occasions when I venture…
