SAG Awards 2019 – Key Looks And Trends
Last Night the Hollywood Awards season continued with the Screen Actors Guild awards, where a suitably starry Red Carpet full of stunning dresses didn’t disappoint. Lady Gaga was once again the stand out star on the red carpet, although once again missing out on an award. I must admit I was slightly torn over the dress – I loved the bodice and her stunning hair and make up, but the thigh high split has been overdone, and the whole look was very slightly Madonna Like A Virgin era. For me, there were other looks that stood out more, Rachel Weisz looked incredible in black and metallic pewter, Sandra Oh in…

Stylish Movies – Evil Under The Sun
Following on from my admiration of the wonderful look and style of Death on the Nile, last week I got chance (thanks to a snow day for the hubby) to sit down and enjoy ‘Evil under the Sun’ another prime piece of Agatha Christie murder and intrigue. Over 50 Inspirational Icons
In June this year I will celebrate my 45th birthday, that half way point between 40 and 50. A friend recently remarked on this and said that after that birthday it was ‘downhill all the way’. My remark back? What rubbish. There’s a definite school of thought these days that says life begins at 50, and even if you don’t buy into that yourself, life can certainly be vibrant, exciting and full of new positive challenges when you’ve blown out those 50 candles. Things certainly have changed. I remember my nan celebrating her fiftieth birthday, and she seemed so much older than I feel now. She dressed more conservative, less…

Data Security Breach – What to do.
We spend every day entering our personal information and data onto online forms. This can be when we enter passwords onto numerous sites that are both eCommerce and social media, enter credit card details as we shop and make bookings for hotels, holidays, concerts, in fact just about everything. The amount of times we enter that personal data which is so integral to our life is staggering, and also terrifying. Because with our data out there, we are always in danger of a data security breach where it suddenly becomes available to everyone. Data Security breaches are becoming more common with companies like Yahoo and Uber falling victim in recent…
